Sourcing Korean Cosmetics for foreign businesses

In South Korea, we have this interesting terms called ‘Monday Blue(월요병/Wol Yo Byeong)’. It is used on Mondays by workers when you don’t want to go to work or simply don’t want to work!

Interesting, right?

Today, we’d like to share one of our projects we’ve recently worked on which is to help an American Mexican businesses to source Korean cosmetics.

The client was one of the biggest drug store brands in Mexico.

They needed to source specific Korean beauty and health products. They provided us with specification and pictures of the similar products in Mexico/U.S. for reference.

With those information, I helped to find Korean manufacturers that were capable of manufacturing them.

After listing up over 20 manufacturers and contacting them by many emails and calls, we managed to connect our client with several manufacturers.

We've worked in the sales and import&export before, so we were able to advise on the further process as well.

This was surely an interesting project, as we’ve heard only through media about popularity of Korean beauty products overseas! Especially nowadays there's an increased number of inquiries regarding the Korean cosmetics.
